Challenge yourself with Spain's most epic cycling adventure! On our self-guided bike tour of the full Camino de Santiago, you will cycle over 750km from Pamplona all the way to Santiago de Compostela.

Beginning in the heart of Navarre along the iconic Camino Francés, this immersive “do it yourself” adventure invites you to experience the authentic spirit of the Camino at your own rhythm and with complete peace of mind.

Your journey starts in Pamplona, famed for the San Fermín festival, before climbing into the rolling foothills of the Pyrenees and crossing the windswept ridges of the Sierra del Perdón. From there, pedal through the renowned wine region of La Rioja, passing vineyards and historic towns such as Logroño, then continue across the vast golden plains of Castile and León. Along the way, you’ll explore architectural treasures in cities like Burgos and León, before ascending into the rugged mountains of El Bierzo and finally entering the lush green landscapes of Galicia.

This full Camino cycling route from Pamplona to Santiago de Compostela covers roughly 750 km of ever-changing terrain, tracing the footsteps of pilgrims who have travelled this sacred path for over a thousand years. You’ll ride through timeless stone villages, Roman bridges and medieval market squares, discovering monasteries, castles and ancient churches that reveal the layered history of northern Spain.

Each day brings the freedom to cycle at your preferred pace, supported by seamless logistics and detailed route guidance. Each evening, relax in carefully selected boutique and heritage accommodations: charming manor houses, historic residences and character-filled hotels chosen for their authenticity, comfort and warm hospitality.

Your journey culminates at the majestic Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela, where you may obtain the Compostela pilgrim certificate: a meaningful keepsake marking the completion of your self-guided Camino de Santiago cycling pilgrimage from Pamplona.
  • Follow the legendary Camino Francés all the way across northern Spain, discovering the incredible diversity of Spain's landscapes, culture and gastronomy.
  • Cycle through the celebrated wine region of La Rioja, pausing in vibrant towns such as Logroño
  • Marvel at the soaring Gothic masterpiece of Burgos Cathedral and the iconic stained-glass  rose window of León Cathedral
  • Ride across the legendary meseta, where open skies and golden plains create a meditative cycling experience
  • Climb into the mountains of El Bierzo and Galicia, cycling through chestnut groves, stone hamlets and misty green valleys
  • Share the road and stories with pilgrims from all over the world, forming connections that transcend borders
  • Celebrate your achievement in front of Santiago Cathedral, as your fellow pilgrims have been doing for over a thousand years.

Gastronomy

The gastronomy along the Camino de Santiago is a rich culinary journey through northern Spain’s diverse regional traditions, beginning with Navarrese vegetables and hearty mountain dishes, continuing through the robust roasts, cured meats and rustic stews of La Rioja and Castile-León. As you enter Galicia, the flavours turn Atlantic and unmistakably fresh, with specialties such as pulpo a la gallega, empanadas and seafood-based dishes, all deeply rooted in local produce and time-honoured village recipes.

Wines

Along the Camino de Santiago, the wine journey mirrors the changing landscapes, beginning with the elegant reds and vibrant rosés of Navarra and continuing through the renowned vineyards of La Rioja and the powerful yet refined wines of Ribera del Duero. As you move west toward El Bierzo and into Galicia, you’ll discover the expressive Mencía and mineral-driven Godello before finishing with the crisp, aromatic whites of Albariño and Ribeiro—distinctive Atlantic wines that offer a refreshing reward at the end of each day’s ride.
