We are back in Colorado, safe and sound, remembering our epic Camino adventure with Juanfe and Remy guiding us through the ups and downs of pilgrimage. Truly, we all felt like this was the trip of a lifetime, each day giving us memorable moments that we will cherish! We want to thank you for your care of arrangements on our behalf to ensure that we had the comfort and support that we would need. Your attention to detail was indeed noted and appreciated! We likewise feel a lot of gratitude at the care and concern given to us by Remy and Juanfe. Of course, we feel that we shared and connected with both of them, and have a warmth of affection getting to know them, especially after the unfortunate incident that Dan had on the 2nd day of riding. They were gracious and attentive to him to help him make the very best of the situation, and I think that he truly enjoyed riding in the support van, getting a completely different perspective than what he expected nevertheless. It was, I am sure, an extra challenge for our guides to accommodate and ensure that his experience was positive, and enjoyable! Another outstanding aspect of our trip was the experience of regional food, highlighting the very special culinary offerings, including the variety and local flavors of Portugal and Spain! We gained a new appreciation of the white wines that complemented our meals! We had picnics, breaks for espresso, snack and water stops with the van, and many photo opportunities to document the visual beauty, and mark the locations that we visited, trying to soak it all in and preserve as much as possible for recollection. Arriving in Santiago, & our first sighting of the Cathedral was an amazing, emotional reaction that brought some tears along with the smiles of accomplishment, which included riding in inclement weather, hill climbing, as well as navigating crowds and urban traffic challenges. But with all that, it pales in comparison with the universal joy we encountered among the pilgrims, well wishes: “Bom Caminho” and then “Buen Camino”…. Oh, and the optional days in Baiona and Finisterre were really special, and we are so very glad that we added them in! The sailboat excursion to the Cies Islands was a great break, and a unique opportunity that we really enjoyed; the lunch as equally incredible! WOW! But the luncheon that we enjoyed in Finisterre exceeded all expectations in every respect- double WOW! So memorable!

10/10 very good quality and price especially since we ended up with a “private” tour. We stopped in a little shop along the road in a very small town and the shopkeeper and her friends were so excited to help us. We had a hard time with each other’s words but the smiles and laughter communicated it all!! We really enjoyed our one on one time with Remy and Enrique. They were both very personable and had such interesting life experiences
