The 80th edition of La Vuelta a España will consist of 21 stages, taking place between August 23rd and September 14th 2025.
Gran Salida: 21st – 27th August
La Vuelta 2025 will open in the beautiful setting of Turin, familiar to cycling fans as a starting point in the 2021 and 2024 editions of the Giro d’Italia. We’ll experience all the behind-the-scenes excitement of the beginning of Spain’s biggest cycle race, and enjoy some beautiful cycling in the Italian Alps.
The first week of La Vuelta 2025 takes us to the cycling paradise of the Costa Brava! We’ll enjoy some spectacular cycling in the Cap de Creus, before heading into the Pyrenees and crossing the border into the mountaintop Principality of Andorra. We’ll have a quick spin through through the famed wine country of Somontano de Barbastro before finishing in the Aragonese capital of Zaragoza.
The second week will treat us to some beautiful cycling along the stunning Basque coastline, and the chance to refuel with some of the region’s famous pintxos. We’ll continue following the coast westwards into Cantabria and on to Asturias, where we’ll take on the legendary Vuelta climbs of L’Angliru and the Alto de Farrapona, before heading back to Madrid via the historic city of León.
The final week of La Vuelta takes us on a real tour through Spain, from Galicia all the way back down to the Grand Finale in Madrid. Beginning in the stunning seaside town of Baiona, we’ll enjoy some gorgeous cycling along Spain’s Atlantic coast before heading inland for the time trial in Valladolid and the all-important final mountain stage in Navacerrada before finishing with an unforgettable final day party with a VIP touch!
“Crossing the Vuelta finish line, and the last climb with the crowds cheering, one of my best tours ever – Amazing team” – Francois, La Vuelta 2024
