“All the hotels were excellent in different ways. Bodegas Puelles was our favourite (the winery). Jesus, the host, was so engaging and showed us all around his family’s winery with pride and passion and gave us a wine tasting for no cost. We felt part of his extended family. A bonus was the pool, jacuzzi and sauna which helped to relieve sore muscles after the rides..
The bicycles were of excellent quality. With hindsight, my husband & I should have booked the motorised version. Our youngest son and his girlfriend had to wait for us to catch up a lot
We would like to thank Sabela in particular for her patience and helpfulness in handling our needs. The gastronomic delights of Rioja were a lovely surprise. It was just as well we burnt up lots of energy cycling.
Our favorite memories were the incredible views around every bend and, of course, the wine!”
