Day 1: Thursday, August 21st. Turin

Welcome to Turin, and your La Vuelta 2025 cycling tour!
We’ll pick you up from your hotel in Turin in the morning, and transfer you to our luxury spa hotel, situated at the heart of the Mandria Regional Park and located just steps away from the Reggia di Venaria royal palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Once checked into the hotel, we’ll carry out our welcome briefing and bike fitting.
We’ll kick off our cycling adventures with a loop through the countryside of Venaria Reale, the former hunting grounds of the Dukes of Savoy and the setting for the Grand Départ of this year’s La Vuelta a España! From the elegantly landscaped gardens of the Venaria Reale to the extraordinary natural reserve of the La Mandria Park, all set against the ever-present backdrop of the soaring Alps, this year’s race is sure to give us a start to remember.
Day 2: Friday, August 22nd. Turin

Our first full cycling route takes us into the fabulous Alpine landscapes surrounding Turin, including an ascent through the Superga National Park up to the Basilica of the same name, a jewel of Italian Renaissance architecture which boasts a superb Baroque dome and serves as the mausoleum of the Royal House of Savoy. From here, we can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Turin and the Alps.
Next, we’ll explore the beautiful city of Turin, famous for its authentic northern Italian atmosphere, Baroque architecture, and wonderful museums. The Palazzo Reale di Torino, once home to the Royal House of Savoy, is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and houses the sacred relic of the Holy Shroud. The city’s most icionic monument, the Mole Antonelliana, was originally conceived as a synagogue but was reimagined into a symbol of national unity.
The day ends with a delicious dinner of authentic local cuisine. Piedmont is the home of the slow food movement, and the region is famous for its wines, truffles, and incredible gastronomy.
Day 3: Saturday, August 23rd. Turin

Today’s the big day! We’ll watch the Grand Départ of La Vuelta 2025 from the exclusive VIP section, enjoying behind-the-scenes access to the team buses during the set up, and privileged views of the start of the race.
This exciting first stage of La Vuelta begins from Reggia de Venara, very close to our hotel, and will be an opening to favour sprinters, with a largely flat stage to the city of Novara.
After seeing the riders off on the very first stage of the race, we’ll hop into our van for a transfer to Novara province, where we’ll enjoy a beautiful cycle route before cheering on our favourite riders from the VIP section at the finish line in Novara city.
Day 4: Sunday, August 24th. Turin

This morning, we’ll travel by van to Alba, where we will soak up the exciting Vuelta atmosphere at the start before seeing the rider’s off on todays’ Vuelta stage.
From Alba, we’ll enjoy a beautiful cycling route around the Barolo region, arguably Italy’s most important Protected Denomination of Origin wine region and a UNESCO World Heritage Site in its own right.
Our route will take us past the region’s most important wineries, pedaling past endless vineyards and spotting historic castles hidden away among the hills and valleys. Along the way, we’ll visit picturesque medieval towns such as Monforte d’Alma, which dates back to the 13th century, and La Morra, from where we can enjoy fabulous views of the Alps. We’ll have a chance to sample the famous Barolo red, known as the “King of wines”, when we stop for lunch!
Day 5: Monday, August 25th. Turin

This morning, we’ll set off from the hotel on our bikes and ride the last 60km of today’s La Vuelta stage from the medieval mountain town of Courgné, cycling through the foothills of the Alps and climbing up to the stage finish in Ceres before taking our places in the VIP section at the finish line to await the arrival of the peloton.
Day 6: Tuesday, August 26th

Today, La Vuelta crosses the Alps from Italy into France!
We’ll travel to Susa by van to watch the exciting stage start, before following the peloton on one of the most legendary climbs in cycling: the fearsome Finestre mountain pass! With 1614m of ascent over 18km and spectacular Alpine views all the way up, this is a climb that you’ll not soon forget.
Our final cycling route of the tour finishes in the French city of Grenoble, overlooked by the imposing mountian of La Bastille. We’ll spend some time exploring here before heading back to Turin by van.
Day 7: Wednesday, August 27th
